These systems are design for maximum performance with minimal amount of maintenance and comply with all industry standards and spécifications. MEGATECTwin Water Softeners offer a greater commercial operating capacity and provide you with 24 Hours of continuous softened water. MEGATEC Water Softeners are effective in removing high levels of hardness, primarily Calcium and Magnesium. These Systems come with an external brine tank and require periodic backwashing to dispose of the accumulated hardness ions. This is accomplish by backwashing the system with brine wtaer an then disposing the effluent. During this process, the softener media regenerates itself and once again is fully operational.
